 Very cute. Great Size. Pretty durable! Aug 08, 2010
My 9 yr old daughter was looking for a backpack. I let her browse through Amazon, and this is the one she wanted. She was using her own chore money since I had just replaced her backpack the previous month, but she wanted something "better" (her words). I really, really didn't want her to get it because most of the comments tend to say it is the perfect size for pre-k to maybe 1st grade. She was in 3rd grade and brought home lots of stuff from school. Additionally, I was worried about the quality, given the super cheap price (12.50 with discount).
HOWEVER, it is really a perfect size....even at her size and age. Most junior backpacks were still too big and rubbed against her hips; this one was a great size. It was plenty big for all her regular folders and schoolwork. And after 5 1/2 months of brutal daily wear, bus rides, and weekend overnights to friends' houses (stuffed to the brim), has shown no wear. For the price, that is amazing. We are usually replacing elementary school backpacks every 4-6 months b/c of rips on the seam, zipper malfunctions, holes from pencils, etc., etc. but this one keeps chugging along.
She got it in blue and IT IS MUCH, MUCH cuter in person! She has gotten lots of compliments from her friends.
Would definitely recommend this for any girl, probably ages 4 - 9.

It is a beautiful backpack. My six year old daughter loves it. And the size is perfect for her school stuff - not too bulky but roomy enough. It is a good buy for the price.
 Zipper is a bust! Sep 18, 2009
Though the backpack is a great size for a Kindergartener, and I probably shouldn't complain because of the cheap price, but the zipper is a bust. It keeps getting snagged and is at the point of almost breaking. We can only zip it one way (it has 2 zippers, but one way doesn't work now). I'm purchasing a backup backpack to have on hand for WHEN the zipper does break.

I have two daughters and they only used the bookbags for a summer for camp. All kids are rough with their items but these bookbags fell apart in such a short time. I usually buy them Jansport which will usually last throughout the year, but for camp I figured I'd get a cheaper bag since it was just for the summer. If you are looking for a bag that will last with your kids then this may not be the bag for them.

Great customer service with very cute design Aug 07, 2009
I got this bag for my cute little niece for her 6 year birthday. It was kind of last minute shopping. The quality of this bag is good for the price I paid. My niece has been using the bag every time when we go out. I appreciate the great customer service they provided to me, the staff were very nice and helped me with all my questions. They processed my order right after I placed it, and the tracking number was sent to me less than an hour. This is the fastest online service I have ever had and I was very impressed by their efficiency. This is defiantly a good online company I will come back again!
